Undercover on the streets of Las VegasIts the consumer's opinion that matters. May 09 Government should be held accountable Is government guilty of illegal activity concerning tobacco products? Well I say yes they are! I've been giving this a lot of thought lately and it occurs to me the same health and safety codes that made cocaine, LSD and marijuana illegal apply to tobacco also and the government is turning a blind eye to it because they are not as concerned about the health of Americans as they are about making a buck! LSD, cocaine and marijuana is enforced as illegal why isn't tobacco? In my opinion it is because they want the money. In my opinion they judge tobacco differently based on the others cause dissident behavior and that is a big no no. In my opinion it is not so much that it will kill us as it is that in their opinion it makes us rebel and not be good sheep. Well, that's fine with me, but why should we let them get away with allowing tobacco companies to fly under the radar and not be held accountable to the same standard, it is a health hazard that they admittedly state causes death and therefore it needs to be illegal, period! Where are the lawyers? They shouldn't be suing the tobacco companies, they should be suing the government for ignoring the illegal status of tobacco as it should apply under The Controlled Substances Act. They used these laws to make cocaine and lsd illegal and there were a hell of a lot less deaths from those than there are every year from tobacco. While I am thinking of it I want to point out that I am not just ranting here, I am like many of you who has had to watch loved ones die because their will power of this drug (tobacco) is far less than that of cocaine or heroin addicts. And tothose of you saying I am a stuck up, better than thou, whatever.. I was a heroin addict years ago, and I was a cocaine addict years ago, and I was addicted to cigarettes (TWICE). Those addictions are gone and far far in my past, but I still get to watch loved ones around me die because the government chooses to allow tobacco to be legal when it should not be. The point of this discussion group is to rally everyone from all walks of life to press your congressmen and senators, write letters to lawyers and start petitions calling for the immediate illegalization of tobacco products, and to shed light on a shadowy corner that has been hiding a gross hipocracy on the part of the governmet, MAKE TOBACO ILLEGAL or MAKE LSD AND COCAINE LEGAL. Making cocaine legal is absurd and I only use it to point out that allowing tobacco to be legal is equally if not more aburd. Mr President Obama, please, hear the logic in this article and take preventitive measures to avoid class action lawsuits against the government by removing the legal status of tobacco. I hope everyone will join in this group and add their voice, save your children, your wives, your parents and friends. Most do not nor will not have the will power to escape on their own, and so called patches, gum and other cures and really just cleverly disguised means of making a buck on the backs of the suffering. February 21 What's new and exciting Hmm.. Lets see, well, ALOT is the short answer.
Yeah I've been BUSY!!! And that is my excuse for not adding any blogs in the last few months, "that's my story and I'm sticking to it". I should have some more time to blog eventually, but for now I will elaborate on a few of the web projects I opened up since they are free and I would really like to hear from anyone who tries them out on what they like, what they don't like and what they would like to see in the future?
If you try any of this out please let me know what you think. I enjoy givng to the web and all I ask is a little feed back on how to make it better so everyone will enjoy it even more. I'll try and get back here more often, but being a one man programming department can really get hectic at times...
October 29 Rebuttal To Negative Obama EmailIt's Getting close to election day and I keep getting bombarded with negative Obama Email that's lame.
But I would like to re-post my reply to the latest attempt to anti-Obama spam me and I hope it provides a little food for thought.....
Lets look at the developments of a republican hand in "American Freedom" ; Freedom without control will always equate to inflation. Why, because the majority of unintelligent monkeys that make up this planet are genetically flawed and unable to control their emotions. They are subject to the single most devastating problem to afflict this planet since Eve ate the apple, GREED! Without big brother to save people from themselves they will continue to lie cheat and steal from each other. They will play on the ignorance of the uneducated in an unchecked manner, and all in the name of capitalism and PROFIT! IE: Take a look at today's medical ads on TV, They want me to buy a pill to stop my spring and fall sneezing touting how great it does this and how much better I will breath. Then in the kindest, most soft and seductive voice they can hire they proceed to tell me this same medication is known to cause kidney failure, liver problems, lymphoma (CANCER), heart attack, stroke, and in some instances death. AND THEN as if I have been completely hypnotized and convinced that these greedy uncaring capitalists are looking out for my good, they wind up their commercial by urging me to go and specifically tell my Dr I want him to prescribe this to me. That was just one small example to the constant IQ TEST going on in this country due to capitalistic freedoms. While most ultra rich will tout how hard they worked to get that way, let me point this out, most elite rich work hard at manipulating money. Of these elite rich, only a small percentage of them actually do any substantial real world work, like performing a material service or even as much as washing a window or helping an old lady across the street. For the majority of these elite the only work they do is manipulating and controlling money. Wall street is filled with people who make a living manipulating money, bankers are rich by manipulating money, loan sharks/brokers work at manipulating money, day traders and stock brokers make their money by manipulating money. Isn't that the same as SKIMMING? In return for their hard labor MANIPULATING MONEY they tell us ... Maybe we should all THINK ABOUT IT a little more, you just might see the truth behind the game. If I have learned one thing from my life's journey on planet Earth it is this... We are all flawed by this emotion and unfortunately we need Mom and Dad watching over our shoulders in order to save us from ourselves. What does all this have to do with the election? Does Obama want socialism? No but he understands that freedom must have incentives in order to control greed. I have listened to both candidates (I have been Republican since Ronald Reagan) and would like to share my observations with you... Obama: Has repeatedly told me where he intends to spend money, what he believes it will cost, has laid out exactly where and how he intends to raise this money for these expenditures and stated very clearly what he wants to accomplish, and clearly stated what he intends to do today in order to effect change tomorrow. McCain: Has spent most of his campaign telling me why I shouldn't vote for Obama, he has told he he is not George Bush, he has told me about his past, and has vaguely stated that we need change and spending needs to be stopped and congress is over spending, and that Obama used to associate with a terrorist, and Obama is wrong, and Obama, and Obama and Obama. I base my vote on clear cut logic.
McCain hasn't said anything clearly Obama has clearly stated how he plans to attack the problem.
Again McCain has not said anything clearly, and continues to should like a excuse the pun, politiCain (politician deliberately misspelled ) Obama has told me what it will cost and how he will raise the money. McCain has done little more than slam Obama and pay me lip service. READ MY LIPS: NO MORE BULLSHIT! In fairness I will say (before you do) that both parties have been negative towards the other, but one thing has stood out. Obama has told me the plans he has, in the present, to bring about change in the future, and McCain has not! For these reasons I support Barack Obama. America needs saved, that is if there is still enough time to save it... Please help put an end to Corporate GREED and the widening of the gap between working class and the ultra rich. PS: I make a six figure income!
<> July 28 A Really Kewl Batman Sight I just got done browsing a really kewl Dark Knight website that has tons of stuff.
They have all kinds of Movie Trailers, interviews with Christian Bale and others, and even an HBO special on the Dark Knight!
There's a poll there to vote on different batman stuff, I voted for Jack Nicholson as my favorite Joke and Michael Keaton as my favorite Batman, as far as I'm concered that was stil the best movie of them all. The really did a great job of capturing the true feeling on a 1950's Batman Comic.
There's also a pretty large selection of Dark Knight Movie posters, including foreign language version, and they also had Dark Knight movie photos.
This sight was also running a piclens 3D so browsing the posters and photos was really kewl. Check it out for yourselves here.
